Help with movies...

Hi.

I'm writing a 'vengefull messiah/angel of death' structure, according to the book "the 12 stages of story development'.

That basically means my protagonist enters the provincial world from the world of story to take his revenge.

Now, I'd like to see some of the movies which have this structure. I know the Crow has it, and I believe Kill Bill will have it, but I can't name any more of them. So, do you know any movies which have this kind of structure?

You've got the 'messiah' structure, which is about a messiah/messenger coming to the provincial world to take down the rulers and 'free' the inhabitants. One flew over the cuckoo's next is a great example of this. Now, the 'angel of death' structure is something like this, except he doesn't want to free but he wants his revenge.

The Mummy started with an adulterous couple who cheat on the king, are killed, but try and come back to life to wreak havoc.

The Spiderman cartoon series had a pretty good story line about a dark force that is trying to get into the real world.

It even featured spider"men" from parallel universes coming together to try and destroy the menace. (To Peter Parker's chagrin, in one parallel universe, The alternate Spiderman is both Rico Suave' and a multi-millionaire.
